I just finished Breaking Dawn (yes, the last Twilight book) & had a great book group discussion with some friends.Whoa, this book was TOTALLY different from what I was expecting. It ended up going in VERY different directions, but it was still good. Not my favorite- I'd say it was my least favorite of the four books, but a good conclusion. There were definitely a few ODD things.
I believe strongly in writers being able to create the book they want, rather than pressure from publishers/fans. After reading a few Q & A with the author here I feel better about the book- that it was the story she wanted written. If anyone wants to discuss email me, I'd love to chat!

Hello! My name's Anelieze and I ran across your blog a little while ago. I kept coming back to it and realized we have a lot in common! So I thought I'd drop in and say hi, and yes, I totally agree with your opinion on Breaking Dawn. I loved reading it and loved the ending, but there's always that sigh of "incompleteness" if that makes sense. Like there's something missing or different...anyways I don't think it makes sense but I wanted to let you know I like your blog! thanks :D
that's so funny that it's your least favorite of the series b/c by far it was my favorite! sad i missed the book group, i hear esther was more on my side.
Olivia, You look like a vampire in your last picture... in a good way! Cuz i know you're tan this summer but in that picute your skin looks so pale and perfect! jealous...
I waited until I finished the book before I dared to read this post! I didn't think I was going to like it during the first half, but I did end up enjoying it. I'm sorry, but I was glad she became a vampire. There are so many people that didn't want that to happen, but I thought it made for a more interesting story. I also am embarrassed to say I'm sad that they didn't get rid of the Volturi. Bloodlust? Maybe.
