So, alas, this wasn't a "real" camping trip. We were supposed go to Boise, ID there were NO camping spots (that whole Labor Day weekend thing). We decided to go to Rexburg & camp in the backyard to Matt & Kristal.
We totally slept outside though & made foil dinners in coals outside. BUT we mostly cooked inside & watched a scary movie on soft couches too. I'm grateful we weren't really camping because CAMPING WITH KIDS = NOT EASY!

1. We had the puppies in kennels at night & the kids LOVED playing in them.

2. Scott & I pretty darn tired from the kids not wanting to sleep all night
3. Me in my camping gear (I'm pretty sure everyone mocked my braids behind my back)
4. No Carter get together would be complete without lots of game playing.

Looks like a lot of fun!!! A modified camping trip sounds just right to me!
