Happy Martin Luther King Day!

I love Martin Luther King Day. MLK Jr. is one of my hero's & I love re-listening to his "I Have a Dream Speech" and other speeches. I love the opportunities to do service in the community. I love hope that this day brings & the gratitude I have for the world that my children are growing up in, thanks to men like him.

We spent our day watching this great DVD, visiting people at our local nursing home, delivering cookies, and counting our blessings! How was yours?

You're such a good mom. Seriously. I hope to teach my kids the same things you're teaching yours.

On second thought, maybe you can raise mine.

Wow, you are such a good mom! I thought about telling Rae all about what today was about but I decided I'd just wait till next year. Maybe we'll have a FHE lesson about it tonight.

I'm very proud of you and the fact that you're raising our grandkids with an appreciation for what really matters. I was on my mission when Dr. King was killed and it altered my world view forever. We should all aspire to his greatness. Thanks for being a good example.
