Reason # 187 of why I wish I could sew well...

Syd would go MAD to dress up in one of these pettiskirts. They are frilly & adorable. I read the instructions here from Martha Stewart & I gave up after reading the first few paragraphs. Too difficult for me... maybe someday.

There is a giveaway for one at the Grosgrain blog: Blushing Buttercream Pettiskirt GIVEAWAY!!!!
Not to mention this adorable decorating idea with them...
Ah, next trip to Portland I'm going to force my brilliant dad to teach me how to make these! Too cute!

Here's a link for an onine tutorial to make a simple tutu. They're not quite as elaborate but still pretty cute!

I think those instructions are overly complicated. I am not a good sewer, but I but we could figure them out together. Martha Stewart just wants you to think she is smart by making complicated instructions!

way cute!! yeah, simpler would be better. I love taking an idea and implementing it in an easier way.
Maybe I'll try this one!

Before I got to the bottom of your blog, I thought Grandpa Buckley could make one of those....I would just drop a BIG hint...or is that what you did in your blog!

Yeah, why do I get the idea this is a subtle hint for Grandpa, who recently asked what Syd would like for her birthday. . .

I wish I could sew better too. Than I wouldn't have worn the ugliest dress in the world to my wedding.
