Birthday List of a soon-to-be 29 year old

Friends, I've got nada for my b-day list this year. Seriously, I don't know if it was having Tahoe, then my writing conference, then Rob's birthday, & all the work we've been doing on our yard but I've had no time to make a fun list for my birthday this year.

But I've been harassed for a list so I've scrapped some ideas together. Enjoy:

1) I need more film. I know I always need more film but my Holga (120 film at 400 speed) has been neglected & I'm running low already on my Fuji Instamax Mini film (both can be found at Allen's Camera in UT)
2) Pretty earrings. I have very few & would love some more pretty earrings. I know the store PebblesInMyPocket in Provo has a section with homemade cute earrings like these.
3) I have probably spent enough renting this movie that I should have bought it LONG ago, but I still don't own it.
4) I love my Gold Toms with a passion but there are holes in the toes. So, I'd love a new pair. I know they sell Toms at Nordstroms but Gold may be out of stock. I'd like a red or grey pair too (size 10)
5) Giftcards for clothes. I'm not dying for any clothes right now. I mostly want to live in jeans & a grey t-shirt but I could always use more!
6) My lovely in-laws bought me a Yudu as an early present & I already know I'll need some more supplies for it so emulsion sheets, metallic ink, or white ink would ROCK! (I know WalMart or any crafty store carries a bunch of these)

Wolf Dish Towels

I know, I know, it's a little out there, but I am in FREAKING love with these wolf dish towels.

You can also get the rad yellow eyed wolf on a you size or baby size shirt. Yes, please!

I could own anything from their shop. And, yes, they have a gnome onesie. Loves.

Emerson Made E.M. Gold Coin Necklaces

I'm not a big jewelry person. I didn't wear a ring until I got engaged, I got my ears pierced after I was married, & most necklaces are just too much for me.

But these lovely Emerson Made coin necklaces are just so elegant.

I love the images & messages on each. And that they are little simple reminders that only you know what they mean since they are Latin.

My favorite is the balloon with the message: "Animum Debes Mutare Non Caelum" / "Change your state of mind, not the sky" (I love the lion & monarch too).

This is SO going on my birthday wishlist.

SpiritHoods

Ummm.... you guys can feel free to call me crazy, but I want one of these SpiritHoods SO BADLY. Ridiculous price ($129), but it's just about the coolest hat/scarf/glove set I've EVER seen!

Lovely Mugs

My lovely friend Monica sent me a link of these adorable Mr. & Mrs. Gnomes (which I want badly) & I noticed the Etsy seller also had mugs.

Well, being the newly inducted herb tea drinker that I am, I've developed an affinity for mugs, so I checked them out & I fell in love. Just look at them:

I'm seriously considering telling Scott that my book will never get finished unless he buys me the Mr. Tea mug.

Christmas List 2010

We've had a crazy holiday season so far & I haven't had a lot of time to think up a list. But I've had some people ask & I love LOVE reading other peoples lists so here's mine:

1) 120 film for my Holga - color or B&W in 400 ISO
2) An ipod dock
3) Cute coin purse- homemade would be great or this one & this one
4) 4GB keychain Thumbdrive - I dig this one
5) Plain white v-neck T- (size L) my white shirts need replacing
6) Cardigans- Old Navy has some cute ones (here, here, & here size M) or Forever21 (here & here size L)
7) Minnetonka moccasins (size 10)- my friend Smithy has a pair & I'm in love with them
8) Yudu Screen Printer - I can think of 100 projects I could use this for (midnight release t-shirts anyone?)
9) American Apparel hoodie- (size M) they are pricey but some of the only girl hoodies that fit well (here & here)
10) Pretty flower earrings- At the beginning of the year Rob flushed all my earrings down the toilet so I need more. Like any here or here or here

Gorgeous Asymmetrical Necklaces

While browsing Etsy I ran across "Jewlery by Brittany Chavers". She's got lots of gorgeous items but I am seriously in love with her asymmetrical necklaces.

There are TONS of them (over 100 different combinations) so you can find one for any style, to match any outfit.

Gold wall paint?
So not going to happen, but I am admittedly tempted.

I can't wear JUST gold leggings (as pants) in public, but I'd dig them under a dress.

Getting together photoshot outfits

So, my wonderful sister-in-law Kristal is coming here for a quick visit & is taking family pics for my writing group friend Meagan. I went over the other day to help her pick out outfits. SO MUCH FUN to do for someone else!

Then Kristal mentioned that she could do some family pictures for us. I LOVED the family pictures she took for us last time (here) and the ones she took of just me (here). So, I've been getting OUR outfits together.

Not nearly as much fun as doing it for someone else. Especially since we don't have the right clothes or the right color for what I want to do.

I'm gonna make do with what I have in my closet, but I tried them on in the store & I'm still in love with that dress (minus the pink belt ) & the sweater.

Birthday List

This year is one of those years that I don't really WANT/WANT anything. My list pretty much complies stuff I put on my list in past years, but since people have been asking here a birthday list.

But seriously people, all I really want is a big bucket of KFC & some good friends to chill with.

1. Soft, vintage GAP goodies- cute v-neck & a roll up hoodie size L
2. Gold TOM'S are gorgeous- size 10
3. Need some 120 film for my Holga- like here & here
4. I love this Pride & Prejudice version
5. Love the Fujifilm Instax Mini camera & film
6. A plain white tank top. I've worn mine to DEATH (like this Shade one)
7. Totally random but a giftcard to ICING would be great- they have a couple necklaces, headbands, & earrings I've liked lately & it's totally boring but TARGET gift card.
8. Cute Target summer cardigan size L (Es has ones of these & I love it)
9. Love these two prints. Love. Them. (this one & this one)
10. I love these scalloped shelves (they sell them at Roberts craftstores & you can get a 40% off coupon to get them- always nice!)

Muffin Top Tin

After my muffin top cereal post a commenter, Michelle, told me there are this brilliant thing called a Muffin-Top Pan. PURE GENIUS!

And, goodness, I totally want one & the first recipe I'd try is this lovely blueberry muffin with crumbly sugary topping.

P.S. I also found this no-pan-needed recipe for chocolate pumpkin muffin tops. Sounds so YUM!

I have the ugliest camera bag alive. Leather & rectangular. Seriously, not cute...

Classy Business Cards

I'm in love with these vintage inspired calling card/business card.

So original with a hint of femininity. If I ever finish writing a book to the point where I feel like I could call myself a writer I'd love cards like these to pass out. They are lovely.

Dainty Lovely Home Decor

Oh, & this "Mid-Century Rocker" is LOVELY! Pretty, sleek, & would match beautifully with the look I'm going for in our living room.

And, oh my, this zig-zag rug. I love that it has a design but not "too much". I just love it.

I am IN LOVE with this beautiful lace basket. I would probably take off the strap, then use it to look pretty & hold stuff.

And lastly, if it were possible for a shower curtain to be lovely, this ruffle curtain is it (dang those ruffles get me every time).

Christmas Wish List 2009

Okay, here's Liv's Christmas Wish List. I had a hard time compiling one this year, I guess I do every year (I should keep a list so I can think of stuff when the time comes). I've just been busy & a little stressed the past few days. We have a mammoth amount of things we need to do & it's kind of scaring me.

Here it is:

1) I know I asked for the BBC one for my birthday (which I got & watch all the time) but I'm almost, almost equally as in love with this version & I don't own many movies- just my favs.
2) I know, what do I need with ANOTHER camera? But I am in love with these Fujiilm Instamax Mini's. Polaroid will be redistributing their products in mid 2010 (I'd love a Polaroid camera then) but these cuties are stylish & the pics are adorable credit card sized prints (cute crafts with them here).
3) I'd like a nice set of Prisma Colored Pencils. I love them- the richest color I've ever seen. I foresee many fun projects with these.
4) A tripod- nothing fancy just the basics.
5) Prints. This is from last years list too. I just love art & prints. Anyone who has been to my house knows I have family pics & art all over my house. I adore these LDS Etsy prints (buy 2 get one free right now) & I mentioned the love of these prints seen on Amelie before here & here. They are whimsical & lovely (a couple of my fav things).
6) A Yudu Screen Printer. I am just loving all the wonderful projects I've seen done with these (like this one). They are a little pricey but sold at Roberts & Micheal's (where you can get a 40% or 50% off coupon).
7) An itunes giftcard so I can buy the new Pearl Jam CD. (I have no use for "real" CD's anymore, so that's the best way for me to be able to buy it)
8) Oh, reading... how I love thee. I have a HUGE list of books I want so I'd love a Border's, Amazon, or Barnes & Noble giftcard to feed my addiction to good literature or really bad fiction (whichever I'm in the mood for).
9) I need to replenish my MAC make up- Studio Fix Powder in C4 & MAC eyes shadow in Shroom.
10) A return address rubber stamp with our new address on it. Love the handwritten look of these Etsy ones.
11) Red cowboy boots- I still don't know why I want these but I do. I think they are adorable!

And let's be honest anything in my "Stuff I Covetously Want" section is fair game for my Christmas Wish List too.

Lovely, lovely. I adore their designs, the fact that they are modest (which is hard for me to find), & they just look amazing.

Miss Ruby Sue

I am in LOVE with Miss Ruby Sue's accessories- headbands, necklaces, & broaches in gorgeous color combinations.

They are pricey for my lifestyle right now, but someday I'd love to rock one of their necklaces while wearing an all black or grey dress (kind of like I envision my couch someday).

Couch with Pillows

I'm in the market for a couch. Nothing soon- we're saving & waiting for our tax return but I've been eyeballing this one from Ikea (maybe the love seat that matches too).

I love the gray! I LOVE IT! It's simple but not black or white. Then I'd dress it up with some fab pillows. Here's a few of my favorites:
