Scott was home sick Monday morning & having daddio home threw off the equilibrium of the whole morning, so the kids were WILD babies!
It was time to eat breakfast & I gave them 2 options (a very common trick I use- give them 2 options, rather than ask what they want). It didn't work on this particular morning...
So, I gave up & gave them what they had been chanting ALL MORNING "taco soup!" (leftover from last night)... while daddy crashed on the couch. I have to say it's the MOST breakfast they ever ate.
I mean look at those faces- have I ever gotten a pic with them both smiling? Happy Babies!

Sometimes it's worth it to do things out of order. I realize my kids always take to it a lot better and it's a fun break in the system. Cute taco soup faces!
Too cute!
And I love the two options tactic - it is standard procedure around here.
How cute! I want the recipe for that taco soup!!
Yeah having dad home during the day does throw things off!! Taco soup for breakfast - that's awesome.
