Scott & I have instituted a "Daddy Date Night" for each baby, once a month. This Saturday was Sydney's first date with Scott. They went to get ice cream at Dairy Queen & talked, then he asked her what she wanted to do.
SYD: "Play with toys at the store" (we do this a lot)
SCOTT: "Okay, at WalMart?"
SYD: "Noooo! Red store!"
SCOTT: "Red store? Hummm... Oh! Target?"
SYD: "Yes, YES!"
Then they went to the store to get me some pretty flowers for Mother's Day. I think it was a hit, I'll let you know how Rob's date night goes next weekend!

SO sweet! I keep meaning to do soemthing like this... but with so many kids we would be broke! Haha! But some sort of version of this! The only thing is, I want in on the dating action... so Levi and I may have to take turns!
Oh, the other problem is, when we ask one kid if they want to go out with just me or Levi they usually end up inviting a brother or sister or two to go along.
My kids love dates with us. So so cute to her about Syd and Scott's.
Ah, how cute, even with Scott's ghetto facial hair.
The red store? That's so cute! You can see the excitement in her eyes!
