Harry Potter

I was driving to Portland during the midnight release of Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince (we are hardcore midnight release people) so we weren't able to go (but you can see my siblings-in-law's costumes here). Instead we went last night.
Unfortunately, dressing up on the Wednesday after a major movie release with a 1/5 filled theater is NOT COOL. Instead, Scott & I settled on drawing 'dark marks' on ourselves & semi-labeling our 'sneak-in' candy (I don't feel bad since we bought popcorn & a drink too) with various Potter themed names.

Loved the movie- visual, funny, & sad. I didn't mind the license they took with the book at all. It was just amazing. I can't wait for the next one!

dark marks are awesome! We ran out of time with Matt's. I still think that you should have just worn our robes... people would have laughed so hard at you, it would have made me happy just to think about it. I would probably have followed you secretly and filmed people's reactions.

I hope we get to go this weekend. We have been listening to the book on tape. It is soooo good.

I agree, it was a great movie and all the license they took with the story was totally acceptable and didn't alter the overall essence of the story.

BTW, those dark marks on your arms ROCK!

I love that you labeled your candy!! Way to play it up even though you missed the midnight release. I'm going tomorrow and I'm excited to finally see it.

We finally saw it last night. I still don't understand why they changed some of the script...it was pointless. But I did enjoy the movie...! Now lets see Twilight (:
