What's for Dinner?

Okay, guys I'm having a COMPLETE mental block on dinner lately.

What are you guys having for dinner tonight?

What are some of your favorite recipes?

Please share or else my family may be eating Spiderman Mac & Cheese or Hamburger Helper (yes, it's that dire).

P.S. Yup, there's my BUCKET of garlic that I put in everything.

Last night we had these really delish Greek Quinoa Burgers, which I'll be posting on my food blog today. Tonight I'm trying out Manicotti for the first time, filling it with ricotta and chopped broccoli. And then tomorrow I'm going to try making Shepherd's Pie for the first time with some ground venison a friend gifted me with recently.

last night we had homemade mac & cheese. when I have a mental block i like throwing a quick quiche together. Super easy if you buy a frozen crust.

Last night we had really good soft tacos with chicken, black beans, and rice with tomato sauce in it. Tonight we're having breaded chicken and mashed potatoes! My favorite easy meal (and no, I'm not kidding) are weiner boats! Just cut hotdogs in half, top with instant mashed potatoes, and melted cheddar cheese. Yum.

We are having salmon, rice, and frozen green beans. I just season the salmon with a little lemon and pepper and saute it in olive oil.

Tacos are always my solution when I can't come up with anything else.

I made a huge salad the other night and let everyone pick their toppings. Haven't done that for awhile and it worked better than I expected.

stir-fry. It's easy, rice, veggies, and meat if you'd like.

dude, mac and cheese sounds bombing right now! But I would suggest pizza bagels... bagels with pizza sauce and cheese and whatever else you want... super easy and super delicious! I used to make those when I didn't really want to cook much.

Jessica- Oh wow- you're food sounds SO GOOD! Come cook for me!

Smithy- and your quiche is SO good. can you email me the recipe?

Erin- Oh heck, I'm sold on those wiener boats. They sound GOOD!

Katie- I like the salad idea. And we often times to "build-your-own-burritos" when I have no other ideas.

Cindy- sounds good- what do you spice it with?

Kristal- that does sound good. I remember I had a homesick day in China so Heather & I made the last box of American food we had (Mac & Cheese) & hid in our room so no one else would ask for some. It was SO GOOD!

Yes Tacos are always a quick one for us. Or Chicken Chili or Taco soup.... we get the Costco uncooked tortillas and make quesadillas a lot. Or Pizzadillas. LOVE pizza bagels! Grilled Cheese.
