I was a the Thrift Store a while ago & saw not one but two gnomes (that's like GOLD for me when thrifting). They weren't particularly neat & a little chipped & dirty.
So, I decided to clean them up & spice them up a bit.
Step 1: Get your wired naked children to shake the spray paint can for the allotted 3 minutes.
Step 2: Take your gnome out in the snow & pick which lovely shade he'll be wearing (really you should sand them first, just to rough them up, but I totally spaced it)
Step 3: Spray the little guy (then let him dry & paint him again until he's all covered)
Step 4: Let them dry
Step 5: Set them somewhere you can see them often & enjoy!

Now if you can't eat yellow snow what are the rules on raspberry pink snow? xx
Emma- I love it! Thanks for the laugh!
So cute! What a fun idea.
Emma-Jayne, you reminded me of the old Frank Zappa song with the chorus, "Watch out where the huskies go/And don't you eat that yellow snow." Since I grew up in Florida and didn't see snow until I was in my 20s, I couldn't figure out what the heck Zappa was talking about for the longest time.
Just So- I like the way they turned out. My hubby thinks I"m crazy.
Mike- HA!
Fantastic! Have you ever blogged about where the love for the gnomes came from?
