Last week was a rough week for me. Not just with sick kids, sick me, & sick husband but just feeling out of sorts.
So, I've tried to focus on the simple things that can cheer me up. Here's a mini list complied over the past couple days:
1. COMMENTS
2. FLOWERS FROM MY YARD
As much as I enjoy them outside, these flowers were being chocked by weeds. Plus, I love 'em in a nice vase sitting on my table. Lovely.
3. PLAYING ONE-ON-ONE W/ EACH BABY
Seriously love getting alone time with each baby. The different way they play & chatting to get to know them each better.
4. A FRESH BAR OF SOAP & A LONG BATH
Nothing makes you feel human like bath & I love me some Dove.
5. NICE TEXTS
Seriously, having a particularly hard day on Friday & this nice text made me feel not only understood but so much better.

Hope this week is better. You know what you really need? A trip to Washington!!! That heals all stress and sickness!

Sorry you had a bad week! I didn't even know! I guess thats one of the side effects of not living near you guys! What a good list, it really is always the little things that make the day!

I'm so sorry that Friday was the pits! Dang it! You texted me about hanging out too, and I couldn't that day. I'm so bummed! I hope this week is better. I love your list. A bath cures everything. :)
I think we could all use a little more Gratitude for the simple things. Life is too hectic, so we just need to be grateful, take a deep breath and count our blessings
