1st draft revising


Oh me, oh my... revising is a love / hate thing so far. I am enjoying going back, re-reading, & fixing it all up. Like the author Shannon Hale recently explained on Twitter:

But other days, like today, I question the whole thing, thinking I should throw it away & start over with a new story.
And on top of that, as I'm reading along I cringe realizing wow- there are a TON of unusable sections!

It makes me both giggle. And cry.

Wow... every time you feel down about it, just look at how freaking think that binder is and realize 'I WROTE every word of that.'

That in it's self is quite the accomplishment.

have you thought of writing a childrens book? maybe that genre isnt your thing...but i would love to read a book about the 'adventures of Sid and Berto.'
