Royal Wedding

Aw, wasn't the wedding SO SWEET? I was ga-ga for it!

My writer buddy Meagan recorded it & after dropping Syd off at preschool, Rob & I raced over to her house with herb tea & tea cups in hand to enjoy the festivities.

Yes, I even wore pearls for the occasion (I only wish I had a big hat so I could celebrate properly). Rob & Charlie joined us too, they were only marginally interested but very cute.

We had a blast sipping tea, relaxing on the couch, & enjoying all the hoopla! And I just loved her dress. It was vintage & modern, timeless & youthful. Just LOVELY!

Did anyone else watch it? What did you think?

watched it from 3 a.m. til the kiss. Loved her dress---loved the hats and fascinators...why was the prime minister's wife the ONLY one w/out a hat!?!

Wish I could have seen it and have a proper English tea. But...no one here cared but me. Glad you had fun. I loved her dress also. Looked alot like Princess Grace of Monaco when I watched that 100 years ago.

I didn't watch the festivities, but I checked out the highlights. Her dress was gorgeous. She looked gorgeous. I kind of wish I had watched it now.

so, so sad that i missed this. yellow tea cups! pearls! i watched the highlights on t.v. and totally cried. what does that mean? (probably that i was sick and emotional from staying in bed all day). it made me more excited to read your london-set book. you must finish revising.

I LOVED IT!! I got up at 5:30 and watched the whole thing, from the time the royal family and then the bride left their respective locations and arrived at the Abbey through to the kiss on the balcony. I teared up several times, thinking of how happy they all looked and what a momentous occasion it was. Everything was SO BEAUTIFUL and went off w/o a hitch. It makes you believe that true love still happens.

She looked every elegant and just right. Andrew's daughters however looked tacky.
