Ode to Dry Shampoo

You know those times you find a product & it just CHANGES your life? (for me: gold Toms, my ipod, & red hair)

Well, DRY SHAMPOO is one of those:

Seriously, people, my life is different.

There's my "pre-dry shampoo" life.

And now my "post-dry shampoo" life.

And I'll be honest, the "post-dry shampoo" life is better.

Plain and simple.

Any other "born-again-dry-shampoo-ists"? What brands/types do you love?

P.S. I have only tried one kind, it's the brand Beyond the Zone & I bought it at Sally's Beauty Supplies.

EDIT: Due to a couple emails I've already gotten & questions in the comments I'll go into more detail for people who (like me 1 week ago) had never heard of this stuff. Skip this if you know/don't care.

It's basically a spray (I've heard there are powder kinds too) that goes on white-ish kinda like baby powder that sucks the oil away from your scalp. You leave in on for a second, rub it in a little at the roots, & brush it out. It's not like "washed" hair but it's not like sticky or heavy hair product either. It totally took the greasiness out and actually added a lot of texture & volume. For someone that NEVER washes their hair everyday this is an AWESOME option.

I am definitely going to have to try this...I am currently the queen of rocking the baby powder because I HATE washing my hair daily. Thanks for the info!!!

Okay, so why is this stuff so awesome? What's the difference? Well, besides the obvious being no water...

Okay Olivia - please explain to me more about the beauty of dry shampoo....I have three tins of the stuff at home (got in random goody bags) and have no idea what to do with them!!!
Do you think that it would be good on curly hair??

Ok, as a stylist, dry shampoo is pretty cool. I know lots of people who use it, and you would never know. Especially pregnant ladies.
@Lavelle, dry shampoo should work on any type of hair, but you may have to experiment with different kinds to find what would work best.

I've been using Suave dry shampoo. Love it! Posted about it today actually.

I used something like this in the 70's...it was gross...like putting baby powder in your hair. But at least it smelled nice.

I have and love the BigSexy Hair kind - it's not white, it's "invisible" or whatever so it's good for dark hair like mine. Rachel told me - spray it like 8 inches from your head, I spray my part and then lift up a couple of sections, wait a minute or two, then use a skinny bristle brush to kind of scrub the parts I sprayed. Really helpful beauty product.

I like your list of products that changed your life! Not that it's a product but lasik eye surgery would be one of those "change your life" things too...
