Rob's 1st day of school went pretty darn well. He's my shy little guy & was pretty hesitant, but he did WAY better than I was expecting.
Sydney's 1st day of school went off without a hitch. She was hard for me to see go. That school seems WAY too big for someone so small. But that Sydney Carter was MORE than ready to go.
Yesterday was the first day Syd & Rob went to school at the same time. We dropped Syd off & were driving Scott to work before taking Rob to preschool.
From the back seat, ROB: "Mom, if Syd's at school, and Dad's at work, and you take me to school. You're going to be all alone."
I look back & see his VERY worried expression on that little mans face.
I'm pretty sure my kids think they're around to babysit me. Scott assured him that I'd be just fine on my own, but even when I dropped Rob off he gave me an extra big hug & said "Don't worry, Mom. I'll see you soon."
Ah me, it's simultaneously awesome & devastating to see them grow up.

Awwww, that's so sweet that Rob was concerned about you! You need to remind him of that in about 10 years when he's a surly teenager.
Syd is so spunky! I think she takes after your mom. :)

Awww, so cute! I love reading your stories about your kids. Btw, this is so super random, but I had a dream last night that I had to babysit Rob and Syd XD. And we were all on top of a ridiculously tall bunkbed for some reason, and Rob kept trying to jump off the edge... kind of a stressful dream, actually :P. I swear I don't usually dream about random blog acquaintances, but it made me laugh when I woke up :)
