Typically I have a rushed morning: getting kids to school or, the days Rob's out, we're running to the gym right after dropping Syd off.
This morning Rob & I opted out and took a leisurely pace.
And it was a lovely break.
We took a long morning bath, we ate breakfast on the living room floor while playing Batman, & I spent a good hour watching him make a "trap" for the cat at the top of our stairs (I have no idea how it constituted a trap but it sure was entertaining to watch).

What a lovely post Olivia. I have decided to slow things down with my little people as well (making life alot less stressful for all of us) and this means I have been not worrying about rushing out the door to take my children from one place to another.
It has made for a much nicer and less stressed Mumma and much happier little people :)
That trap looks wicked! I don't think the cat stands a chance. I also love that we can see your baby belly peeking up in the photo. :)
Love the trap, and I have been wanting a looong bath ever since I saw that picture.
It's a trap because Spiderman is there waiting to pounce . . . .

Love mornings like those... :)
This morning was the first time in about a week that we had to be out of the house before noon and everyone was so grumpy because of it! I like our nice, slow mornings!
Also, I love these pictures. Good job.
Days like that are amazing!
