Sunday Family- September 23rd

Happy September Sunday!

Today they cancelled regular meetings at church & had a special adult meeting thing. Anyway, that meant it was just Scott & I at church today (thank your Schmitts for watching the kiddos). It's kinda nice going with just the two of us. Like a semi-date & we haven't been on a date in FOREVER- what you want to babysit my 3 totally cute only semi-wild kids? Awesome!

And try & ignore all the "Emergency Preparedness" stuff surrounding our feet. We had a mini-freak out on whether or not we'd be prepared if some emergency/natural disaster happened, so we hauled everything out, organized it, & decided what else we needed. So, yeah, it's now chilling in our front room until we find a permanent location for it. Go ahead, judge. I judge myself.
This last week has been pretty much filled with Syd & Rob fighting over playing with Linc AND Syd & Rob playing with Linc until he laughs so hard he starts crying. I also filled a custom order on my shop for a wedding in the UK. The cute girl is a vet & asked for a bunch of sets with cats & dogs. Plus her last name is GOLD. Hello, such a cute personal touch.

And this next week, I have a feeling it's gonna be a good one! I've got a couple lady dates, & possibly a fun autumn solstice/ writing celebration if we can get it all together.
What are you plans for this lovely last week of September?
Then we'll be FULL FLEDGED into FALL!
Can't wait!

I feel ya on the date situation! Good thing Natalie is a pretty good third wheel :)

Your emergency prep stuff totally reminded me that I don't have a 72 hour kit for Natalie! Plus, I don't think Matt and I have checked on oursx for years. Hmmmm, I guess we know what we're doing for FHE next!

I can't believe it's fall! Hope you have a great week!

Way to go on the preparedness stuff. I got all our stuff out a few weeks ago, and realized that everything was old and expired. So now I get to start over.
I totally understand the babysitter/date thing. It is so hard to find someone who is willing to watch the kids. I am lucky, we have a family that lives close that has amazing daughters that love little kids. So I traded with the 16 year old, I did her hair, she will do the babysitting for me. It is so awesome!
Have a great week!
