I had considered waiting to present the "Carter Family Reunion" shirts that I designed for our November trip but after my brother-in-law insisted that he must see & okay the design (Note: Russell it's TOO later so you better say you LOVE it!). Plus it was such a fun project I thought I'd share.
First Scott & I designed it. It probably doesn't look like much but we put that sucker together, added banners so we could have the words (the bottom says "Established: 1977" the years Scott's parents were married), & then had to find out what the Carter crest looked like (with cart wheels on it. Get it? Carter? Cart.). All while my fabulous sis-in-law Kristal was finding the best possible price for baseball shirts (Note: she says BigFive had excellent deals & occasional coupons).
And the best part was the lovely, Kristal, took in the armpits & sides of the HUGE man baseball t-shirt so the girls wouldn't be swimming in them.
Ta-da! Carter Family Reunion here we come!

ahhh... i was wondering why the shirt on the bottom looked faded and weird... it's because it's inside out.
