We don't get them as often as Maryland, where I grew up, but when they do come it's glorious. Syd hates getting wet so Berto & I went outside and swung around relishing in the cooling enjoyment.

Summer Storms
We don't get them as often as Maryland, where I grew up, but when they do come it's glorious. Syd hates getting wet so Berto & I went outside and swung around relishing in the cooling enjoyment.

I never use an umbrella because I LOVE LOVE LOVE the rain. I think umbrellas ruin it! My neighbors come out with rain jackets and umbrellas to walk their kids to the bus stop. I have an umbrella for the kids, but I am usually bearfoot and umbrella less and I walk down the gutter area on the way back home to feel the water rush over my feet! I am all about the rain. People ask why I do not have an umbrella and I just say, "If I had an umbrella I wouldn't feel the rain!" I feel like it is a good mantra for life as well... but that is blog post for another day!

I LOVE summer storms... In fact, I just love storms! Extreme weather is one of my FAVORITE things (except extreme heat...).
Love them! I love sharing them with my kids. I love stomping around in puddles. I love signing in the rain. I love sitting and watching and cuddling up.
