So, when the family went to Disneyland I made match-y homemade shirts for the cousins. However, they didn't turn out quite as cute as I wanted them too.
The technique I used was supposed to look vintage-ish "tie-dyed", but just kind of ended up a little ghetto. But it's all good- they matched that's what I was going for!
First I bought shirts & the right color of dye:
I dyed the shirts & washed them (as per instructions):
Then I used a bleach pen to draw Mickey ears on the front (make sure you put cardboard behind it so it doesn't leak through):
Then I wiped the bleach off & washed them. To finish off I added bows (just sewn on) to the girls shirts:
I also added numbers on the back for the cousins and TA-DA!

Um, they don't look ghetto in your pictures... they are super cute! You are crazy and as usual your hard work pays off. :)
What a great idea and to keep track of them!
They dont look ghetto in the pics but I see how if you had a different plan in mind.
I gotta get me a bleach pen.
WE ALL LOVED THEM!!! The cutest ever and people at Disneyland loved them too.
Way cuter than your usual disney t-shirt. I love it. You are such a genius.
