Bijou Market

Two words explain my blog absence: Pure Insanity.
Okay, not really, the two words are : Bijou Market

It's a small local homemade & vintage goods market they have twice a year here in Provo. The lovely Smithy convinced me to sell my drink stirrers and other party supply stuff & she is selling some of her bracelets on the table with me too. (Here is the little write up they did about the shop)

It's just been madness getting it all together. I like the creative parts of it- designing a table, finding new and holiday relevant stuff to make, & making labels for everything. But not so much actually having to make stuff & the mass production of it for this sale was craziness. But it's done & up.
If you want to stop by it's on Center Street at 116 West Provo tomorrow from 10-5! They have lots of goodness- great for you or for gifts. If you stop by take a look at my tiny, not professional table, but feel free to loudly declare how "cool the stirrers" are & how people "should totally be buying these". Because that won't be transparent at all.

Thus far, It's been a two- fold good experience:
1) I put myself out there. Something that is SO HARD for me & I think will benifit me in the long run in lots of other creative pursuits.
2) I know now that this isn't something that I'd want to do like on mass. I think I might kinda be done thinking about it. I'll keep the Etsy shop up but I'm not going to be crazy about it.

And thanks goodness after all this is done we can get back to our regularly scheduled blogging-ness & life-ness!
