Lovely April, how I love the fleeting spring of Utah!
This is
our church's Conference Weekend where we watch online or listen on the radio to church leaders speak. It's fantastic and no one complains that we get to stay home and enjoy the good word in our PJ's

We watch the morning sessions on the laptop all snuggled up in our bed. And, golly, it's getting crowded. These kids better stop growing or we're seriously going to need to look into getting a larger bed.
But we had fun and between sessions today we made
"treat necklaces"- yarn strung with various cereal, pretzels, cookies, and other treats that could be hung around your neck. That way during the next session we can stuff ourselves into a diabetic coma.
The kids start back to school after a lovely spring break tomorrow and I am determined to come up with a plan for keeping this house more organized and put together, the implementation of which will start tomorrow AM. Wish me luck!

Looks so fun! And oh my gosh Liv, i keep meaning to blog about this website I found about getting in good house cleaning.organizing habits because it seriously has made a huge difference for me! it's flylady.net and this lady in my ward told me about it because she loves it too. Mostly I've just been keeping my sink clean, and man, it's like making your bed every day for your kitchen, it's amazing. Anyways... super long comment, but when you mentioned organizing in your post just thought I would chip that in there cause I love it that much... and i'm doing better about keeping my house clean! Hope you guys are doing well!

haha - we made paper towel flowers in between conferences today, which Logan was interested in for about a whole 2 minutes.... not nearly as cool (or delicious!) as treat necklaces. I'm going to have to somehow magically remember this when October conference rolls around.
I'm always telling myself I'm going to get more organized with the house. I did some major spring cleaning yesterday. When the garbage man comes on Thursday, I'm going to fill up the curb. We're also going to clean out the garage since my hubby is on vacation. Can I keep up a routine after? We shall see.
