4th of July 2012

It was a ridiculously full day. I'm ready to soak in a long bath & drop dead into bed. But first the adventures of our Independence Day.

PARADE:
We caught or local 4th of July parade & all I know is it was too hot to be standing on asphalt, in the sun, but we did it. Linc enjoyed his first of many parades of his life.

LUNCH & A MOVIE:

We grabbed lunch at Five Guys Burgers & then took the kids to see BRAVE. We really liked it a lot! One I'd love to see again- especially since it's a mother/daughter adventure.

FIREWORKS:
We decided to try a new spot for fireworks & we loved it. Not too crowded, a little shade, up close to the fireworks. We picked up some pizza, played with friends, & enjoyed the fireworks (even Linc loved them!).

Hope everyone had a lovely & safe Independence Day!

P.S. Past 4th of July celebrations a la Carter Family: 2008, 2009, 2010, & 2011 (I'm blown away by how big my kiddos are getting!)
